How I do it
Screens collect a year of pollen, dust, and cobwebs, and every breeze pushes that straight into your house. Most window guys give them a quick brush. We take ours out and clean them with a dedicated screen cleaner, a tool built just for mesh, so the grime actually lifts out of the fabric instead of smearing around on it. Then they go back in.
It's the step that makes freshly cleaned windows actually look clean. Bright glass behind a gray screen defeats the point. Most people add this to a window cleaning, but I'll happily do screens on their own.

Is screen cleaning included with window cleaning?
It's a separate line on the quote so you're never charged for something you don't want. Most people add it to a window cleaning anyway, since it's the step that makes the glass actually look clean.
How do you clean window screens without damaging them?
We use a dedicated screen cleaner made for delicate mesh, never a pressure washer. High pressure is how mesh gets stretched and spline gets blown out.
Can you fix a torn screen?
We don't re-screen frames yet, but we'll point out any tears or bent frames we find, so nothing surprises you when mosquito season starts.
How often do screens need cleaning?
Once a year is plenty for most homes. Spring is ideal, right after the pollen settles and before you start opening windows.
